1 oz Merrylegs Genever
½ oz Cointreau
¾ oz Raspberry Rose Simple Syrup (Available at OSD Tasting Room)
Club Soda Water
Mint Sprig for Garnish

Begin by adding Merrylegs Genever, Cointreau and Raspberry Rose Simple Syrup to clean shaker tin. Add ice and gently shake ingredients. Strain into old fashioned glass over fresh ice. Top with club soda water. Finally, to release the aroma of the mint, take mint sprig and place in the palm of your hand, gently “spank” with your other hand. This will give the cocktail a fresh herbal nose.

1½ oz C.W. Irwin Bourbon
¾ oz Simple Syrup
¾ oz Lime Juice
Club Soda
2-3 Fresh Mint Sprigs
Lime Wedge for garnish

Remove only the mint leaves from two of the mint sprigs. Begin by adding only mint to the bottom of a shaker tin. Gently muddle mint without breaking it up too much. Now add lime juice, simple syrup and ice. Give the ingredients a 15-20 second shake. Strain over fresh ice into a highball glass. Top with club soda water and garnish with remaining mint sprig and lime wedge.

Here is a great play on the classic mojito. As the temperatures increase outside, it’s nice to have a few options to mix up for patio sipping or for guests. This cocktail shines bright, as the flavor of the C.W. Irwin Bourbon is still present with a touch of mint and lime.

Webber Whiskey Smash















2 oz Ottis Webber Wheat Whiskey
½ oz Agave Maple Syrup Blend
2 oz Lemonade
5-7 Mint Leaves + 1 Mint Sprig

Starting with an empty shaker tin, muddle mint leaves only. Add ice and then pour Ottis Webber Wheat Whiskey, Agave/Maple Syrup and Lemonade into tin. Give a shake and strain into a lowball glass filled with ice. Garnish with sprig of mint.
